IFPHA BOARD MEMBER DR. BRYAN HODGE

Dr. Bryan Hodge is the Chair of the Department of Community and Public Health and the Interim Chair for the Department of Family Medicine at MAHEC in Western North Carolina. He specializes in creating equitable learning opportunities at all levels and is the former Program Director of two rural-focused Family Medicine Residency programs.  He practices family medicine at the Hendersonville Rural Family Medicine Residency Program, a Teaching Health Center, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University Of North Carolina Department Of Family Medicine. His work promotes programming to develop improved access to primary health care by enhancing workforce development programs from middle school through a professional career. As a former National Health Service Corps Scholar, he has committed his career to providing high-quality relational care that closes health inequities and transforming the health of communities through education and innovation.
