IFPHA VICE TREASURER RONNIE PEPPER
As a Neighborhood Youth Corps worker at the YMCA as a teen, Ronnie Pepper, a Hendersonville native, began his work encouraging children which continues today. It's also where he started on his journey as a storyteller, entertaining the young with tried-and-true stories in the mountains and stories around the world.
He celebrates being married to Roxanna 42 years. They are blessed with two children and three grandchildren. He is employed at the Henderson County Library. He is a active member of First Contemporary Missionary Baptist Church. Over the years Ronnie actively serves his community by volunteering in community activities and serving on several boards. He has visited Mexico, Mayapur, India, and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Where ever he goes he shares a story and he learns one. For Ronnie storytelling is exciting and it engages the listener in many ways. At a very young age he was introduced to a teacher and the best teller ever. Ronnie has been on a journey following him ever since.
